Amikihia Knits - Sea Listening Sweater
Amikihia Knits - Sea Listening Sweater
The sweater is cast on with colour A and some of the yoke is worked with increases before colour B replaces it. The yoke continues with a lace and cable pattern, the lace representing waves and the diamond cables representing us listening to it roar! Colour A is repeated with the final increases and the sleeves are separated from the body. The body is worked down with 3 body shaping options – straight, waist and hip shaping or hip only shaping before a stripe in Colour B is worked, then a rib hem is worked. The sleeves are returned to the needles and worked in Colour A with decreases to a simple lace pattern in Colour B and rib cuff. The neckband is picked up lastly in Colour A and worked in rib to complete the sweater.
