Amikihia Knits - Poto Sweater
Poto is worked top down and seamless. The yoke is worked with raglan increases then the sleeves are separated from the body. The body is worked straight down and a long rib hem finishes it. There are two sleeve options, either a bishop sleeve (as shown in the photos) or a tapered (fitted) sleeve which both have a cable pattern worked in the bottom of them, they are then finished with a long rib cuff. A cabled band is knit-in all the way around both fronts and the neck to complete it.

Fitting recommendations
Poto is intended to be worn with 1 – 4” / 2.5 – 10 cm of ease around the bust and 2- 5” / 5 – 12.5 cm ease in the upper arm. To work out which size to knit, take your actual bust measurement then knit the next size up from this, which will then give you the recommended ease. For example, if your actual bust circumference is 39” / 99 cm you would knit the 42” / 107 cm size garment which would give you 3” / 7.5 cm of ease in the bust and 4” / 10 cm in the upper arm.
