KNITTING PATTERN

Flutter Butterfly Hat, a simple lace pattern a deep rib and finished off with a pompom.

Flutter... represents pretty native butterflies dancing among the tussocks on the hill country station.

The pattern has two versions, knitted flat on straight needles or on the round on double pointed needles.

TENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 4 mm (6 US) needles.

Small - 53 cm (21 ins)

Medium/Large - 58.5 cm (23 ins)

MATERIALS:

Merino 8ply

Muster    1      2       100 gm Hanks

One pair each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) knitting needles or one set each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) double pointed needles.
