Join Ethan for an intimate (10 attendees only) 3 day retreat, with an evening of private shopping on the 24th and an optional dinner!
The retreat will run from 10am 23 October till 5pm 25 October.
Lunch will be organized with three breaks each day, allowing for an optimal pace to learn and enjoy the weekend. The entire event is hosted at the Studio, offsite from Get Flocked, details to be provided upon booking.
Each day will have a theme meant to help us improve all our knitting and learn systems to help us manage and improve our knitting without needing to know everything all the time.
The weekend will also feature special appearances from our lovely local Christchurch community, as time allows, with their incredible depth of experience added to our time together we will leave even more enriched.
Please come with a project in mind and an initial swatch(es) unblocked for day 1. Think big and pick something you really want to knit and love, while knitting and wearing. We will work through all of the details you will need for this over the weekend and you will leave with a new approach to all your garments, giving you more control over the outcomes and better results. Improvements will be made immediately and with each repetition of the new system.
The focus of the weekend is improving our total knitting with a focus on garments this year! There are lots of great places to stay in Christchurch and while we are not providing accomodation we are happy to direct you to some of our favourite places.
